How to Transfer Music Using Windows Media Player 10 to Ultra Portable Flash Players - iFP, T10, and T30 Series Players
Music purchased online from pay sites (MSN Music, Musicmatch Music Store, Napster Lite, Walmart Music, Buymusic.com, etc.) can only be transferred to your iFP, T10, or T30 series player using Windows Media Player. Only the T10 and T30 series players are compatible with subscription based music services (Rhapsody to Go, Yahoo Unlimited, Napster to Go, etc.)
If you have an iFP flash player, you will have to close iriver Music Manager 3.16 before you can transfer music to your player with Windows Media Player.
The following steps will help you transfer music copied from your personal CD collection or purchased online from a pay site. There is more than one way to transfer music to your player with Windows Media Player. This is one of the simplest methods to start out with. These steps are for use with Windows Media Player 10 only for Windows XP systems.
To check the version of Windows Media Player you are using, open Windows Media Player. If you don't know where to find it, click on the Start menu and select All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Windows Media Player.
Click on Help, located on the menu bar at the top left of Windows Media Player. Choose "About Windows Media Player". A small window with information will pop up, like the one pictured below:
If you do not have Windows Media Player 10, you can download it free at the following location:

- Click on the button that reads Now Playing List near the top right side of the screen. Choose Sync List from the menu.
- It will now read Sync List and in the dark blue column it will read, "Drag items here to build a list to synchronize to your device."
- Select your tracks and drag them from the list of songs in the middle (striped) portion of the screen to the Sync List column on the right.
- Once you have built your list to your satisfaction, click on the Start Sync button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
