SlimX & ChromeX FAQ
Q. Why does the EQ effect decreases when the volume increases more than 15~17?
A. The EQ effect applies to both AUDIO CD and MP3/WMA. It is designed that the effect decreases as the volume increases, in order to prevent the distortion of sound by restricting the volume level of a specific frequency not to exceed the tolerance level.
Q. The output power of lineout is too weak. Why does the increase/decrease of EQ and volume control on the player also increase/decrease the output of the lineout?
A. It is normal for the output of lineout to be affected by the increase/decrease of EQ and volume control. When connecting external device with iMP-350 using lineout port, the volume can be maximized.
Q. I only have sound out of one ear.
A. Make sure you have upgraded the firmware to the latest version. Please go to the Support section on our website to get the latest firmware. Then, check the Sound Balance on the Control menu to ensure it is in the center (number 20). If it is all they way to the left (0) or all the way to the right (40), sound balance will be affected.
