Q. The latest version of firmware includes all the changes or improvements contained in the previous version. Is it necessary to install the latest version?
A. It is possible to go from any version to another, even to a previous version. However, it is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version to enjoy all of the newest features. Upgrading will also improve the player’s performance.
Q. Is it possible to upgrade using packet-written disc?
A. For the best possible upgrade, use a new disc or use the disc after formatting if you wrote and deleted frequently. If the firmware file and MP3/WMA files reside on the same disc, the imp-350 recognizes the disc as an upgrade disc. Therefore, delete the firmware file after completing upgrade or the disc cannot be used as a MP3/WMA disc any more.
