  5. Type or copy/paste the lyrics to the song in the “Text Editor Window” box.
  6. Check the “Auto Line Change” box.
  7. When done, put the blinking cursor to the left of the first word of the song and click inside the “Text Editor Window” box.
  8. Hit the Play button above the “Text View Window” box. The song will start playing.
  9. While the song is playing, the user has to click the “Insert Time Info” button before each line. This captures the time required between each line to display the song’s lyrics correctly on the iMP-350. Do this before each line throughout the duration of the song.
  10. To test your lyrics first in Caption Editor, you need to click the “Text Save” icon in the top left of the Caption Editor box. You can choose to rename the file or keep the same name, and the file will be saved as a *.snc file.

  12. When you are ready to use Lyrics Caption Editor on your iMP-350, click the “MP3 Save” icon in the top left of the Caption Editor box.
  13. Rename the mp3 file (since it is now an mp3 with text).
